The chapter met at St Mary's Church, Hampton Poyle for Guild Office and Address in honour of Our Lady's Month of May. Fr Jason St John Nicolle officiated for the Office and Fr Jim Turner gave the address. We are grateful to Fr Jim for welcoming us to St Mary's once again. Before the Office, Sr Jenny Dowdeswell was admitted as a full member of the GSS. Many congratulations to her on her admission to the society. Our thanks to the young servers, Naomi Heffer and Amy Cooper, for being the acolytes at Guild Office.

Chapter 90th Anniversary
2007 is the 90th anniversary of St Birinus Chapter. Anyone with information relating to the history of the chapter is invited to post it here or send it to the secretary. If there is sufficient material, it may then be possible to compile a short commemorative pamphlet to celebrate the anniversary.
The Way Forward
At our AGM in March, it was decided that the chapter would aim to meet just four times a year in and around Kidlington where we have most active members. Accordingly, meetings will be held in St John's Church, Kidlington, St Mary's, Kidlington and St Mary's Hampton Poyle. Details of the meetings are posted on this site.
Please give these meetings your full support by attending them in person or, where that is not possible, praying the Guild Office with us at home.
If we are successful in recruiting a greater number of active members, it is hoped that we can once again have a wider programme of events in future years.
