According to the rules, our present representative to the General Council, Cllr Clive Tilling, is due to retire at Easter 2008. Our sincere thanks to him for all his work on our behalf.
The chapter is required to make any formal nominations for representatives of Provincial Group 9 on the General Council by 31st December 2007. If more than one person is nominated by the chapters in Group 9, there will be an election. Cllr Clive Tilling is eligible for re-election.
I give notice that a Meeting for Nominations will take place after our chapter meeting on 7th November. Please advise me of any nominations you may have in writing before the meeting.

Regret unable to attend next Chapter Meeting 07/11/2007 due to holiday.
Wednesday are a problem as I serve evening mass at St Barnabas, but will try and organise cover when I can.
